Bin noch da / I'm still here
Eigentlich stimmt die Überschrift gar nicht. Seit wir nämlich das neue Auto haben, bin ich hier, da und sonstwo, weil ich ständig was zu erledigen habe. Komisch - jahrelang hatte ich kein Auto und habe es auch nicht vermisst, und kaum steht eins vor der Tür, bin ich nur noch weg. Well, the heading isn't exactly right. Ever since we bought the new car, I'm here, there and everywhere because there's such an awful lot of errands to run. It's really strange - I haven't had a car for years and never missed it, and now that it's parked right in front of the door, I'm more there and everywhere than here at home. Da wir grad beim Thema "Erledigungen" sind ... zur Zeit wird wieder mal nicht viel fertig, was mich aber natürlich nicht daran hindert, Nachschub zu bestellen. (Ich bitte die düsteren Fotos zu entschuldigen, es ist halt November. seufz) As we're on the subject of errands ... I don't get much done craft-wise but that doesn't stop me from buying more crafty goodies. (Please excuse the dark photos, it's November after all. sigh) Lang Yarns Mille Colori 2. Stoffabo / 2nd surprise package Nachdem mir der PC abschmierte und ich auf Laptop plus externe Festplatte umgestiegen bin, musste ich mal meine ganzen Fotos sortieren und ordnen. Dabei kam mir dann der Gedanke, statt der Diashow über Flickr einfach eine Fotowand einzubauen. Die kleinen Vorschaubilder dürften auch auf älteren Rechnern und bei langsameren Internetverbindungen schnell laden, und jeder kann dann selbst entscheiden, welche Bilder er grossklickt. Neue Bilder kommen natürlich auch so nach und nach dazu. After the computer died and I switched to laptop plus external hard drive, I had to sort through all my photos and rearrange them. While I was on it, I decided to replace the Flickr slide show by a Photo Wall. The thumbs should load faster even with older computers or a slower connection, and you can choose which ones to click to enlarge. I'll add more photos from time to time. Heute pflege ich mal noch mein Allgemeinbefinden mit Cappucino und Mamas selbstgebackenen Plätzchen (Finger weg!! MEINS MEINS MEINS!!!), das habe ich mir verdient nach dem Zahnarztbesuch gestern und dem gezogenen Zahn. Morgen zeige ich Euch dann den neuen Pulli. Today I'll spoil myself with cappucino and Mom's home-made cookies (Stay away!! They're MINE MINE MINE!!!), I think I deserve a little pampering after the visit to the dentist's yesterday and the tooth extraction but tomorrow I'll show you my new sweater. 19.
